Those who were vaccinated with the Replicon vaccine (Kostaive) or mRNA combination vaccine (including influenza vaccine) after October, 2024
There is currently concern that the Replicon (or mRNA combination vaccine) vaccine may also affect animals through your sweat and saliva.
Since our service is designed to let people cuddle with rescue dogs, the distance is often much closer than between people.
Until we are certain of the safety of these vaccines for animals as well as the safety of humans, we are sorry to refuse those people's visit in order to ensure the health of the animals.
We understand that there are various opinions, and we will continue to review datas and the situation in the world.
(At this point, there are too few publications and results on the relevant vaccine to make a correct judgment on its safety.)

Those who put on strong perfume
Strong scents such as perfume can be distressing to dogs, whose sense of smell is 100 million times superior to that of humans.
Also, sniffing or licking the ingredients can cause allergic symptoms and liver damage (in fact, BEE in particular is affected).
-
Those who use hair growth products containing minoxidil
Recently, there have been many reports of deaths in dogs and cats due to “minoxidil,” which is contained in many hair growth products.
The ingredient is highly toxic to dogs and cats, so much so that death can result from sleeping on the pillow of their owner who uses a shampoo containing minoxidil, or from licking the owner's hands after shampooing and rinsing.
We would appreciate it if you could check the ingredients of your shampoo prior to your appointment.
